Why do you coach?
I want to help inspire people to have the confidence to take that all important, “first  step,” in reaching for their life and athletic goals. In my opinion, that
first step is the most important. Take it, and you may be pleasantly surprised how far you can go. I want to help people realize that they can accomplish
so much more than they ever thought.

Personal Achievements:
One of my biggest lifetime achievements has to be finally taking “that first step” and deciding to lose weight and get into the best shape of my life.
Over the last several years I have lost 60 pounds of fat, going from 225 pounds to 165 pounds. The final 25 pounds were lost in 2007 as I trained
for the Chicago Marathon (my first). Having the courage and commitment to take the “first step” with weight loss and then training for and running my
first Chicago Marathon has led to so many more personal achievements noted below:

3 time Boston Marathon Qualifier. Finisher of (2010-2011) My third will be the 2012 Boston Marathon
5 time Chicago Marathon Finisher (2007-2011)

Why do you work for Vision Quest Coaching?
I coach with Vision Quest because VQ and it’s coach’s are committed to sharing Knowledge in helping our clientele be the best they can be.
We are united in this cause as well as having fun. I speak from experience because I was a VQ client before becoming a VQ coach.

Favorite pastime when not training or coaching:
When I am not training or coaching I enjoy spending time with my wife Beth and my two dogs Barclay and Chico. I also like to play golf, travel, read, and just enjoy everyday to it’s fullest.
