Why do you coach?
To me, there isn’t a feeling in the world like the crossing a finish line. Helping someone reach their own finish line is equally as exciting to me! Triathlon has had such a positive impact on my life over the years and coaching is a natural extension of my passion for the sport. The process of working with someone to capitalize on their strengths and identify areas of improvement in order to maximize potential is awesome. Creating a plan that is fluid enough to work around busy family, friends and career schedules can be challenging, but with challenge comes creativity. When all these things come together there is little more satisfying than sharing someone’s athletic success and appreciating how hard they worked to achieve it.
